It’s almost time. In just five hours, we’ll have more details about the upcoming Nintendo Switch. In the meantime, though, Amazon has announced that their UK branch will open up pre-orders for the Switch tomorrow morning at 7am BST. That might not be too relevant for readers who aren’t in the UK, but the most interesting part of this is that, once again, supplies will be limited. Here’s Amazon’s exact statement:
Due to limited stock we are only able to offer one unit per customer per address. We will be fulfilling customer orders in the order in which they were placed.
So that means that Amazon UK and the Nintendo store in New York City will have limited quantities of the Switch available to pre-order. Securing your Nintendo Switch before its March launch might prove to be a little difficult. Hopefully, Nintendo learned from their NES Classic Edition shortages last season or this might be perfect for scalpers.
