While the gold Mario amiibo is exclusive to Walmart here in the United States, our friends from Canada can now pre-order the gold Mario amiibo from Amazon Canada. Walmart pre-orders for the gold Mario amiibo sold out in around fifteen minutes after being available, so if you’re in Canada or close enough to the border that you can easily obtain a shipment from Amazon Canada, you might want to jump on this pretty quickly.
According to the release information supplied on the pre-order page, the gold Mario amiibo will release on April 10 if you do decide to order it.
The gold Mario amiibo is already out here in the United States, launching alongside Mario Party 10. However, scarce availability at some locations has led to spikes in prices for the amiibo on auction sites like eBay, where hundreds of scalpers are attempting to hawk the amiibo for upwards of $100 or more.
