Both E3 and Gamescom are huge events in the gaming industry where the big three showcase what their customers are in store for in the coming months. As a result, online retailers like Amazon often see a surge in pre-ordering for various games, especially those that received tons of coverage during these events. According to Amazon’s results, the Wii U’s software saw the most rise in pre-orders after the show, with an 8.67% increase. You can compare that to 5.16% for PS4 owners, and 2.81% for Xbox One owners. These don’t translate to more pre-orders per console, but rather showcase the increase between pre-orders from before and after the show.

Several games saw a huge boost in pre-orders, but Project CARS claims the spot for the most rise in pre-orders after the show with nearly 42% more pre-orders. Other games that saw a rise include Rise of the Tomb Raider, Bloodborne, Hyrule Warriors, and Quantum Break. Of course, all of these games have exclusivity on one platform.

Here’s the full top 10 list for pre-orders the week after Gamescom.
