The United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on June 24th, 2022, which for 50 years had protected women’s right to receive a safe abortion at the federal level. Abortions will almost immediately become illegal in up to 22 states.
It is now up to each State to individually decide whether or not abortion is legal or illegal in their state. The response from both Republican & Democratic Senators showcase the depth of a nation divided.
Regardless of political affiliation, one thing is undeniably true: if you’re strongly Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, your next local election will have larger implications than ever before.
