Turtle Beach reveals new Wii U headphones

Gaming headphone and accessory maker Turtle Beach has announced a new set of Wii U headphones. Called “EarForce NLa”, the headphones were made in collaboration with Nintendo themselves, and will be available in black and white. The headphones will plug directly into the Wii U GamePad, making them easier to use while minimizing any potential cable clutter.

The headphones feature noise isolating ear cushions, and will come with a microphone as well (good news for the trash-talking Call of Duty players out there). This model, seen below) will retail at $35.

A second set of Wii U headphones were revealed as well. The EarForce N11 (below), come in black only and feature larger ear cushions and speakers, delivering better audio quality. These are also directly plugged into the GamePad. They’ll retail for $50. Both models are compatible with the Nintendo 3DS as well. They’ll be available later this year, around the Wii U launch on November 18.

As we get closer to launch, we’ll be seeing a lot more third party accessory makers reveal their goods, including headphones, microphones, and more.
