According to a rumor spotted on Japanese site 2Chan, an employee for Intelligent Systems recently confirmed that the company is working on a Paper Mario game for Wii U for Nintendo. If you’re unfamiliar with Intelligent Systems, they are the original developer of Paper Mario and have developed several of the Fire Emblem games.
What you’re seeing above is supposedly confirmation that the employee works at Intelligent Systems, but given the fact that this is heresay at this point, we’re labeling it a rumor. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see a new Paper Mario game show up on Wii U however, as the last entry to the Paper Mario series was Sticker Star on the Nintendo 3DS.
