Area Effect has announced that it will be bringing Izle to the Wii U eShop in 2016. Izle is a 3D action-adventure game from former Ubisoft developers that brings a unique combination of gameplay mechanics to create new experiences. Players can terraform islands and each island is randomly generated and ready for players to explore. While the game is currently in its Alpha stage, there will be a Kickstarter launching this Spring for those who want to support the developers and see this game come to fruition.
Here’s what studio head Alexis Bacot said about the announcement of the game:
“Izle is truly a passion project for us, and we are so proud of the reaction we have received at its early stages. Izle is a very ambitious project that we are excited to see come to life as our development continues and as the Izle community grows and flourishes.”
The game won’t be available in the eShop until 2016, but it already looks like an interesting experience. What do you think?
