Now that the holiday shopping period has passed, we’re starting to see console sales drop back to their pre-holiday levels. The New Nintendo 3DS continues to dominate, while the PlayStation 4 and the Vita have had a slight boost in sales. The Wii U only sold 10k last week and this week it’s back down to just 8k, which is where it hovered for weeks when no games were scheduled for release. It’s a pretty typical week for Japan, so there’s not really any new trends to be set here.
