Blood Alloy: Reborn is coming to the Wii U in 2015

In late September 2013, Suppressive Fire Games launched a Kickstarter game for its Metroidvania style game, Blood Alloy. The game combines stamina mechanics from Dark Souls, with a combination of weapons including guns, swords, and a jetpack for reaching those hard to reach enemies. Despite strong initial interest in the title, the Kickstarter failed to reach its goal. That hasn’t stopped lead designer Frank Washburn, however.

In a recent interview with Siliconera, Washburn says the Kickstarter failure was a good thing for the team, as it forced them to reconsider some aspects of the game and to refine their original idea, ending up with something that’s more lean and faithful to the idea of the game they wanted to create.

Now the game features Mega Man style end bosses, with each boss becoming something of a puzzle that you’ll need to figure out the trick to beating. The game will be coming to Wii U, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 sometime next year.
