Analysts for Bloomberg are confident that Nintendo will have an amazing year this year, thanks to releases like Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8, as well as the newly introduced Amiibo system that can be used across several Nintendo games. Eight analysts have already raised their profit estimates for the company, with a few stating that Nintendo’s profit could triple based on the holiday season alone.

Currently Nintendo is expected to sell 3.6 million Wii U systems and receive $1 billion in revenue from amiibo sales in just the United States alone. This is great news for the company and even better news for fans, as more people adopt the Wii U we’ll continue to see better software support for the system.

Several analysts have commented how 2013 was a terrible year for gaming investments, but thanks to Amiibo, the company is expected to see a considerable improvement in earnings, prompting several analysts to raise the stock to neutral.
