Today marks the release of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Toad finally gets his own game featuring gameplay similar to his levels in Super Mario 3D World.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a simple game which most people can pick up and play with little guidance. It certainly falls into the casual game category. The term casual game has gained a negative connotation over the years, used to describe games that are less than their “hardcore” counterparts. Captain Toad’s first full outing demonstrates why casual games can hold their own when done well. Check out why in the video below.
