As we move headlong into the holiday season, the marketing push from companies is typically gigantic. They all have a product they want consumers to buy and previously, Nintendo hasn’t been great about getting the word out when it comes to their product.
They seem to have learned their lesson for the year prior to Mario Kart 8’s release, as since then we’ve seen a variety of hilarious commercials for Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., and now even a family-oriented commercial that Nintendo is pretty much famous for using to draw people to its console.
This one features a family playing Mario Kart 8, which is a great angle to take for any family that has more than one kid. Local co-op is so rare in games today that Nintendo is pretty much the only company who still reliably makes games you can sit down on a couch and play together. This commercial does a good job of relating that. What do you think?
