During Nintendo’s Q2 earnings report, an investor question and answer session has provided new insight into the direction of the Pikmin series, courtesy of its creator, Shigeru Miyamoto. The answer was given to an investor when Miyamoto discussed his short movies starring Pikmin and the release of those movies on the eShop.
Continually launching campaigns after the release of software will lay the groundwork for the next iteration of “Pikmin” in the future. And needless to say, we want it to be one of the motivations for potential consumers to purchase Wii U. We are making a variety of different efforts.
