Today during the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo of America confirmed that the first batch of Mario Kart 8 DLC that has been teased over the past few weeks will be available on November 13. New characters will be coming, including Cat Peach, Tanooki Mario, and Link. During the Nintendo Direct, Nintendo also confirmed that Amiibos will grant you character-themed costumes for your in-game Mii character, depending on the Amiibo you use with the game.
