Oddworld: New n’ Tasty is a complete overhaul of the original PlayStation One classic, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. It released earlier this year on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, but none of the other targeted platforms have seen the game yet, including the Wii U. In discussing the Wii U version, today the official Twitter account for the game reiterated that the game is not cancelled on Wii U, but that the development team is encountering some issues with the system.
New 'n' Tasty is not cancelled on Wii U. We are currently having challenges with the platform that we are striving to overcome.

In another tweet, the account says that the 8GB Wii U system is part of the problem, as New n’ Tasty is a download only title and it takes up more space than the white basic Wii U has available. Despite this issue, the tweet further states that the 8GB basic unit isn’t the only challenge they’ve faced in porting the game to the Wii U, but no further issues are listed.
