With the second wave of Amiibo figurines already announced, many are wondering when the next six Amiibo figures are going to go on sale. You can already pre-order these figures on Amazon, including the upcoming second wave in December, but no exact release date has been given.
According to my source, the second wave of Amiibo figures will be arriving in retail stores around Tuesday, December 2. No specific release date was given for them, but if the same shipping and sale of items correlates to the second wave, that means the second wave of Amiibo figures should be going on sale around December 5. Unlike the first wave of Amiibos that are being shipped to stores, there is no staggering.
What this means is that each store will receive an even amount of the Amiibo figures, instead of more of one kind than the other. The first shipment of Amiibo figures will be staggered because characters like Mario and Link are expected to be more popular than the Wii Fit Trainer and the Villager.
