Good news for our European friends when it comes to purchasing Nintendo eShop cards. Nintendo UK and Nintendo of Europe have announced that Europeans will be able to purchase balances for Nintendo eShop cards with PayPal, adding yet another method you can acquire funds to be used either on the Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS. The amounts available include £/€15, £/€25 and £/€50.
Those who live in the UK, you can purchase the eShop card in GBP from PayPal. Continental Europeans can access this German website in order to purchase the cards using PayPal. For more information about how to use PayPal to purchase one of these cards, be sure and check out the terms and conditions on PayPal’s website.
For those in America who would like to purchase their card balances using PayPal, the only option right now is to have a PayPal debit card. Hopefully this improvement for Europeans will be available in North and South America shortly.
