We’ve known for some time that Black Forest Games planned on bringing Giana Sisters to the Wii U, but today they’ve finally got a release date for the game. It’ll be hitting the Wii U eShop on September 5th, making it a full circle release for all consoles as the game was previously released on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 after a successful Kickstarter. The game will retail for $14.99.
Having played the PC version of the game I can say that it’s a great little game for those of you who enjoy old school platformers, as some of the puzzles are a bit challenging. The developer has promised an easier mode for those who felt the original was too challenging, so there’s always that if you played the game previously but didn’t care for the difficulty level.
