Yesterday the Media Create numbers for Japan were released, showing off the top 20 game sales ranks for the week in the country. Yakuza HD did not find itself in that list, but today it appears the game wasn’t even in the top 50 for the region. According to Dengeki, the 50th best selling game only moved 1878 units, meaning Yakuza HD sold even less.
Since this Japanese release was supposed to be a litmus test of whether the rest of the world would receive the bundle, I think it’s safe to say this is considered a failure and likely won’t see release outside of Japan unless some miracle happens.
