Indie platformer SteamWorld Dig recently launched on the Switch and developer Image & Form Games shared some good news on Twitter, saying that the game is off to a great start, better than the original SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist games.
They didn’t go into specific sales numbers, but it seems that they’re really impressed. In another Tweet, the developer writes that first-day sales were so good they weren’t sure they were reading the sales numbers correctly.
Nintendo has embraced indie developers for the Switch, and it shows: there are a ton of fantastic, high-quality indie games on the Switch — right now there are over 100 games on the Switch eShop.
And soon, one of the best indie games of all time will be released on the Switch.
-> We have seen only the first-day sales on Switch… when we first saw the figures, we were sure we were reading them incorrectly. But…!!

I can't (or won't, doesn't matter) divulge actual figures, but #SWD2 has started way, way better than both the original Dig and SW Heist. ->
