Retro City Rampage DX needs just 24 MB on the Switch

No, that’s not a typo. The indie game Retro City Rampage DX, which launches on the Switch tomorrow, literally takes up just 24 MB. Sure, the game looks like it belongs in the 80s with its 8-bit graphics, but even then, 24 MB is just insane. Most games have single songs that take up more than 24 MB these days.

Similar indie retro games take up hundreds of megabytes, so we’re quite surprised that Retro City Rampage managed to keep the disk space requirements that low. They should get some sort of indie award just for the file size.

Anyways, Retro City Rampage DX launches on the Switch eShop tomorrow and will retail for $15.
