Edmund McMillen fans have something to get excited about, as the indie developer has stated that he plans to bring his most recent game–The Legend of Bum-bo–to Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, he didn’t give a time frame for when we can expect to see the game. Take a peek at this teaser trailer to see a hint about what the game is about.
The Binding of Isaac fans will instantly recognize the music in this trailer, but unfortunately there’s no gameplay preview just yet. The game will likely feature roguelike elements similar to The Binding of Isaac, but I’m just happy knowing the game will eventually make its way to Switch.
I’ve spent countless hours trying to complete the challenges on The Binding of Isaac on Switch, despite having played it on other platforms. It truly is one of those games that’s amazing when you can take it with you and I’m excited to see what The Legend of Bumbo holds for people who really like McMillen’s unique art style.
