Another day, another Switch indie game announcement (or two). This time, developer Art In Heart has announced that it will release their procedurally-generated 2D platformer GoNNUER on the Switch on June 8. If you’re in Europe, you get it a week earlier: June 1st.
GoNNER was released last year on the PC, and is a roguelike 2D platformer, where the level procedurally generates as you progress in the game.
Here’s how the developer explains it:
“GoNNER is a tough as hell score-based procedurally-generated platformer with roguelike elements. GoNNER is also a story about friendship between Ikk, Death, and a space whale named Sally. You will die. A lot. This is by design, but it’s not made to feel unfair. You’ll eventually get the hang of GoNNER, so don’t lose your head. But even if you do it’s okay cause we have a lot of replacement heads you can use.”
The game will retail for $10 on the eShop. Check out a gameplay trailer and gameplay video below.
