With the release of the Nintendo Switch, some users were unhappy to discover that the activity log that’s been a staple of the Wii and the Wii U seems to have gone missing. That’s not entirely true, it’s just not what you expected. Nintendo’s hidden it away in the wording that your profile uses when it shows you the games you’ve played.
When you first start playing a game for about a week, you’ll see the phrase “First started playing X days ago.” However, after about a week your profile view will switch (hehe) and you’ll see “Played for X hours or more.” You can see this in this tweet from an IGN staffer who has now had his Switch for over a week.

So far it looks like the activity log doesn’t do accurate tracking, as it will just say an estimated number based on the hours you’ve played once you manage to reach over 100. That’s unfortunate, since Breath of the Wild is such a huge game it would be nice to have an accurate estimate of how much time you’ve spent inside its world.
