Nintendo of Spain recently held a contest where 20 lucky winners got a chance to try the Switch console. It was supposed to be a random 20 fans that were chosen, but that was not the case, apparently.
Out of the 20 chosen to play the Switch, 15 had ties to Nintendo, which breaks their own competition rules. That’s according to several Spanish gamers and YouTube stars.
The 15 winners were related to Nintendo employees or had worked with the company in the past in some capacity. A clear example of conflict of interest.
And Nintendo didn’t deny the accusations. In fact, they cancelled the contest and will removed the 15 people from the list. Instead a new 15 gamers will be chosen at random.
Someone is getting fired for this.
Mucha casualidad que las mismas personas con relación evidente con @NintendoES siempre ganen sus sorteos y concursos. ¡Corrupción al poder!
