If the lines to pre-order a Switch in Japan are any indication, the console will be a big success. Thousands of gamers have lined up all over Japan to be one of the first to pre-order the Switch console. Some even spent the (cold) night waiting in line.
That’s because while pre-orders started on January 13th in the West, pre-orders open up on January 21st in Japan.
And to show just how popular pre-orders are in Japan: Amazon sold out of their Switch consoles in Japan within an hour.
The Switch launches worldwide on March 3rd. Check out some of the lines in Japan below:
