Warner announces its toys-to-life game LEGO Dimensions

Way back in March, we heard rumors that Warner Bros. Interactive is working on a toys-to-life concept with its LEGO series of games. The games have become highly popular over the past few years, with numerous franchises seeing a conversion to LEGO, including Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Batman, Marvel, and more. It turns out that rumor was true, as Warner Bros. Interactive have announced the series today with the above trailer.

The game is a product of The LEGO Group, who is responsible for the numerous franchise-based LEGO games. According to the press release, the game is launching on September 28, 2015 and it will fuse several of the universes already featured in LEGO games together, including DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago, Back to the Future, and several that have not been announced already.

With Nintendo’s amiibo already out, are you willing to adopt another toys-to-life concept?
