Possible three-armed Princess Peach Amiibo spotted

We’ve seen quite a few Amiibo defects so far — but unlike most toys, people aren’t returning these for a refund. No, they’re making thousands of dollars selling the defective Amiibos as collector’s items. It was less than a month ago that a legless Princess Peach Amiibo sold for $25,000.

What we have here is possibly the weirdest Amiibo defect yet: a three-armed Princess Peach. The image was first posted on Twitter, and so far it’s hard to say if it’s legit. However, since the entire box is not shown, we’re going to take this one with a grain of salt.

Princess Peach isn’t the only defective Amiibo fetching big money: a Samus Amiibo with twin-cannons sold for $2,500 back in December.

Ammibos have been a hit from Nintendo so far, launching with Super Smash Bros for the Wii U. In fact, Amiibo has now overtaken Activision’s Skylanders in popularity, and is tied with Disney’s Infinity.

Fake or real, what do you think?
