Wave 2 of the amiibo figures isn’t supposed to be released until December 14th here in the United States, but it looks like some stores are putting them out a bit early. You can see in the picture above that the Zelda amiibo is already on shelves. If you’re a collector who is looking to get them as quickly as possible, it might be worth checking around to see if any other second wave amiibos have made an appearance.
A quick refresher on the second wave of amiibos is that it will include Zelda, Diddy Kong, Pit, Captain Falcon, Luigi, and Little Mac. The listed release date at Amazon is December 14, but some brick and mortar stores like Best Buy are citing the release date as December 19. Either way, with Toys R Us putting them out early it’s likely some other retailers might be as well.
