This week the popular topic on the Wii U Forums seems to be Super Smash Bros., as we’re drawing closer to the October release date for the Nintendo 3DS version and the Wii U version will follow shortly after. There is still a roster of unknown characters for the game, which leads many people to speculate when they’ll be revealed. There’s got to be at least one Nintendo Direct dedicated to the game, so perhaps we’ll find out then. If you’d like to speculate which characters will be added, head on over to the forums!
Another interesting post on the forums concerns the Legend of Zelda Wii U footage that was shown off at E3. Some enterprising forum goer has discovered footage of a day night cycle of that particular clip, giving us a look at what the game could be like if Aonuma does decide to include a day and night cycle within the game.

Last year when Pokemon Rumble debuted with NFC figurines you could buy to interact with the game, we figured that was the start of Nintendo’s NFC figurine effort. While the Rumble figurines didn’t do as well here in the United States as they did in Japan, with the Nintendo 3DS supposedly having support for Amiibo figurines through an additional peripheral, perhaps we’ll see Pokemon Amiibo for the release of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It’s something the forum goers are hotly debating. What do you think?
