To say that Wii U owners are looking forward to Mario kart 8 would be an understatement. Mario kart 8 is likely the first big Wii U game of 2014, and gamers are slowly getting their wallets ready. Since the last Nintendo Direct, Mario Kart 8 has risen to the top spot of all games on the Japanese Amazon.
Hopefully Mario Kart 8 will have the same effect on Wii U system sales as Zelda Wind Waker HD and Super Mario 3D World had — Mario Kart 8 launches in May, and the Wii U could probably use a sales boost during the Summer. As we found out yesterday, Bayonetta 2 will launch in the Summer in Japan, and later in 2014 in the rest of the world. Super Smash Bros U, another highly anticipated Wii U game, is rumored to be ready for this Fall.
