It took Nintendo nearly a year to announce availability of Gameboy Advance games on the Wii U virtual console after advertising it in a Nintendo Direct from early last year, but yesterday we got confirmation that North America will be getting a handful of games come this April. That’s great for Nintendo in terms of keeping up on their promises, but the not so great thing is that two of those games were already given to Nintendo 3DS early adopters in the Ambassador Program Nintendo set up after the retail release of the Nintendo 3DS.
What makes this blow worse is the list of games that are heading to Japanese owners in April, which is a considerably longer and more varied list of games to be released at the beginning and end of April. Thanks to Siliconera for publishing the full list, but this leaves us asking, when is America going to get these quality games on the virtual console? Nintendo has continually eaten away at the goodwill from their fans by trickling virtual console releases on the Wii U instead of bringing a solid selection of titles each week.
Which of these games do you want to see hit the North American and European eShops sooner rather than later?
