A new week means a new look at sales of both software and hardware in Japan. This week Japan saw a couple of new software releases, including Kirby Triple Deluxe, which has topped the charts for its release week. The Nintendo 3DS continues to dominate the top ten software sales, with seven of the ten slots belonging to Nintendo’s handheld.

Only one Wii U game managed to break the top ten and keep its foothold, with Super Mario 3D World sitting nicely in the tenth spot. Hardware sales are down as well, but that’s to be expected after the holiday season.
