It seems like just about every few days there is a new indie developer expressing interest in the Wii U platform. Several Kickstarters projects have said yes to the Wii U, while some of them were successful and some weren’t. Other games like CrossCode have been in long-time PC development, but their creator thinks the Wii U could be the perfect home for the title on consoles.
Radical Fish Games have stated that the game is built in HTML5, which would allow for easy porting to the Wii U thanks to Nintendo’s Web Framework. The game would certainly be a hit with retro gamers that tend to enjoy the Virtual Console on Nintendo products as well.
