The Switch is getting a baseball game! It might not be a particularly good baseball game, more on that in a second, but yay variety!<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\nThe game’s Twitter page made the grand-slam announcement this morning. You’ll be able to grab it at retailers or digitally on the Switch eShop on September 5th! As for the price, it’ll be $29.99, which means its more expensive on Switch than other platforms.<\/p>\nHere’s more info from the press release:<\/p>\n<blockquote>R.B.I. Baseball 17 allows for fun, fast-paced gameplay in all 30 ballparks with over 1,000 MLB players. The Switch version will take advantage of the platform\u2019s unique controller options that allow for gaming everywhere.<\/p>\nDodgers shortstop\u00a0Corey Seager<\/span>\u00a0will appear on the US cover and Blue Jays centerfielder\u00a0Kevin Pillar<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will appear on the Canadian cover.<\/p><\/blockquote>\nNow, onto the bad part: the game hasn’t been reviewing too well. Currently, RBI Baseball<\/em> on Xbox One sits at a very low 1.8 user score, with three critics giving it a 42%, 20%, and 20%. Yeah..that’s not that great. Who knows, though, maybe the game will find a suitable home on the Switch with a lot of improvements?
