The NPD numbers for March 2017 are in which means we finally have an idea of how well the Nintendo Switch sold. According to Nintendo, the Switch has become the fastest-selling Nintendo system in history with more than 906,000 units sold in the United States during its launch month.<\/p>\n

Here’s what Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime had to say about the news:<\/p>\n

“Nintendo always strives to offer consumers something fun, new and different. With its various play modes and the innovative features of the Joy-Con controllers, Nintendo Switch provides unique experiences that people can take with them anywhere and share with anyone.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We don’t know the exact, worldwide sales numbers, yet. Nintendo will formally announce those on April 27th during its fiscal-year earnings release.<\/p>\n
