Nintendo has extended its “HackerOne” program to the Switch, meaning that it will now offer money to hackers who find vulnerabilities on the new Switch console.

HackerOne is an independent platform used by many tech firms, such as Twitter, where they offer bounties to hackers who find bugs and security issues with their software and/or hardware.

Nintendo already uses the platform for the 3DS, and now, on the Switch, with a minimum bounty of $100 per bug/glitch/issue.

Some of the things that Nintendo is looking for is vulnerabilities and exploits in piracy and game cheating, as well as more serious system vulnerabilities, as they explain:

The bounties Nintendo offers range from $100 to $20,000. And the company is quite active on the platform: it awarded three bounties in the last 24 hours.
