Yesterday Japanese financial site Nikkei reported that Nintendo will be shuttering Wii U production<\/a> at the end of the year. Nintendo has denied those reports, stating that production of the console will continue “into the next term and beyond.”<\/p>\n

Nintendo spoke directly to Famitsu<\/a> to dispel the rumor, stating that no announcement has been made by the company.
