Back in December of 2015, we reported on a patent<\/a> for a new oval-shaped controller that seemed really strange in design. Two pads for interfacing with the device were set directly inside the screen. Some speculation arose that this could be the new controller for the Nintendo NX and now it looks like we’ve got a weird shot of something that resembles that patent in the wild, if the device isn’t faked.<\/p>\n

According to Destructoid<\/a> who obtained the picture, while the image does appear to be altered to place the black rectangle over the image, no other aspects of the image seem to be altered at all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
