Last night, a Nintendo Direct was held for the upcoming Platinum action game, Bayonetta 2. As I watched the Direct, I realized I was finally excited for a Wii U game that wasn’t developed by Nintendo or based around a Nintendo franchise.<\/p>\n

With the Wii U seemingly cursed up to this point when it comes to non-Nintendo games, could this be the title that proves there is an audience\u00a0craving\u00a0Wii U games that stray from the classic Nintendo formula?
