While Chrome has supported web games in the form of apps for some time on the Chrome Webstore, the release of\u00a0 Bastion<\/a> is something of a game changer. You see, Bastion is a pretty beefy little indie game that’s worth experiencing and now it can be run entirely within your Chrome browser. Supergiant Games says the Bastion you can play on Chrome is the same experience you’ll have from the downloadable version available on Steam, thanks to Google’s Native Client technology. Full 1080p artwork, the complete musical score, and the critically-acclaimed narration is all packaged neatly into your browser.<\/p>\n

If you want to give the game a try, you can play through the prologue for free. To unlock the rest of the game and finish The Kid’s adventure, you’ll have to buy the full version of the game for $14.99. While the game isn’t a huge 3D experience like Call of Duty or other modern games, you will still need a pretty beefy stystem in order to play the game within your browser.
