The Nintendo Switch comes with a dock for displaying the console on a TV, but what if you want to be able to drop it into multiple docks around your house? Nintendo has patented the logic controller behind displaying the image from the Switch itself to the TV so quickly, so it’s unlikely that they’ll license the technology to third-party manufacturers like HORI or Nyko.
